Ensure the vacuum is turned off while removing the dust cup container. Remove the foam filter and rinse it under water until the water is clear. Wait 24 hours to let it dry before putting it back in the vacuum. If the dust cup is still blocked and has issues, you may need to replace the dust cup and/or its filter.
